Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has declared that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is open to discuss a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is presently midway through the four-year agreement he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.
The experienced forward has scored an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, contributing them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which represented the initial important achievement of his notable career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would like to see Kane go back to England, where he needs 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England leader has now suggested that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he once was, and would certainly think about prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of extending longer, I could certainly see that," he commented.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an honest conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the record top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five competitions, securing the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a honor had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would react after ending his trophy drought, but now thinks it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
